Hearing the quote since my childhood
made me to believe what was said.
Being a mother is never easy.

When asked about the hardships,
all were eloquent with the 9 month hurdles,
morning sickness,food cravings,
and the pain suffered during parturition.

But no soul spit even a word on
post partum mess,which shatters me,
the sleepless nights  that puts me down,
The melancholiness  that turns me mad.

I too admit,Being a mother is never easy.
It isn't just the 9 months ,
But many more to go...
